There are a few options for quick service dining inside the Magic Kingdom, including a newfound favorite for us, the Columbia Harbour House, located in Liberty Square.
There are a few good reasons why this restaurant makes an excellent choice for a quick lunch or dinner when visiting the park. Sometimes you just don’t want to deal with getting to a restaurant at a certain time like you have to when you make an Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR) for the table service restaurants. Sometimes you just want to grab a bite when you feel like it but not feel like you’re rushing around and not getting a good meal. If that’s the case, this is the spot. The menu is different in that it offers various seafood selections that you don’t find in the other counter service spots around the park. They also have a couple of tasty sounding soups that I bet taste fantastic on those random cold winter days in Orlando. The kids’ menu is similar to those you see around the parks.
Another part of this restaurant we loved was the seating area. Indoor seating is available both downstairs as well as upstairs, and once you start moving around this place, you see that it is actually very big and there are plenty of tables available. But there’s one spot that makes your meal even more enjoyable. As you’re leaving Liberty Square and entering Fantasyland, look up. That little bit of a building connecting the left side building to the right side shop is actually Columbia Harbour House seating. A window seat in here is a perfect way to people watch in either Fantasyland or Liberty Square.
So the next time you and your family are ready for a good meal at a decent quick service price (all entrees range from $8 – $9), then head into the Columbia Harbour House for a good meal with a good view.

This is one of my recommended quick-service stops for vegetarians who want a tasty meal in the Magic Kingdom.

My mom and I love, love, love the Lighthouse sandwich and Veggie Chili. I’ve never had anything else like it.
