We are continuing our focus on the Boardwalk Inn and Villas for our Resort Friday posts and today we’re taking a peek inside the guest rooms in the Inn side of the resort.
I love the colors and the decorations that you find in the Boardwalk Inn guest rooms now as it makes it feel so warm and comfortable. The rooms were completely refurbished a couple of years ago, and they look a million times better in my opinion.
I love all of the little touches and decorations that you find in the Disney resorts. You’ll find interesting paintings and pictures on the wall in the Boardwalk rooms.
The rooms vary depending on their location and view. We actually stayed in two rooms during our trip, the first being the one pictured above, a standard room with a view of the entrance to the resort, and the second still a standard, with a courtyard view. The second room’s floor plan was quite a bit different from the first. The first was the typical layout we’re used to seeing in the Disney resorts. The second room, however, had a very long hallway and a smaller room area. We’re not sure if it was a handicapped accessible room but it didn’t appear to be marked as one.
The second room, however, did have a view of Epcot’s World Showcase in the distance as you could see the Eiffel Tower above the trees.
There are also Garden Suites available that have their own private courtyard entrance. These suites can accommodate a family of four and are two stories tall.
Water view rooms are available and overlook the Boardwalk itself as well as Crescent Lake.
Next week we’ll continue touring the Boardwalk Inn and Villas by taking a look at the detail around the resort’s lobby.
